The U14B NJ Stallions EDP team finish as U13 Semifinalists at the 2015 USL Super Y National Championship event held at IMG Academies in Tampa, Florida. The NJ Stallions boys finished their Super Y League season in 1st Place in the North Atlantic Division earlier this year with a 10-0-2 record in the U13 Age Division. During the season, the boys scored 42 goals, allowing 13 over their 12 game season. At Nationals, on the road to the Semifinals, the NJ Stallions boys finished with a 2-2 win loss record, notching two wins against #10 Michigan ranked WAZA FC, #7 Florida ranked Miramar United Elite, and losing to Nirvana Majestics from Virginia, and a 0-1 loss to #4 Florida ranked, West Pines United FC. The U14B NJ Stallions EDP team is now ranked #5 in NJ, #19 in Region I, and are #34 Nationally.

The U13B NJ Stallions EDP team took 2nd Place at the Tottenham Hotspur America Trophy tournament in Maryland. Over 4 competitive games, the NJ Stallions scored 7 goals, allowing only 3. They won their first three bracket games against 3 top 20 Maryland State ranked teams beating #20 TSC Lightning 02/03 (4-0), #23 Salisbury United SC (2-1), and #6 Baltimore Celtic SC Fyre (1-0). The final came against the #7 MD State Ranked team, NESC Renegades team, that ended in a 0-1 scoreline. NJ Stallions Boys Director of Coaching, Marcelo Fracchia, commented after, “They’re playing well right now, and I’m proud of their efforts. The boys are looking forward to their winter training schedule. We plan on coming out strong when the Spring season starts”. The U13B NJ Stallions EDP team is now ranked in the top 25 in the state of New Jersey.

The U14B NJ Stallions EDP team at this year’s EDP CUP/MSSL Winter Showcase and took Finalist honors playing up at the U15 age group in the Premier Division. Over the first three bracket games, the NJ Stallions scored 6 goals, allowing 2, while earning wins over 3 top-50 U15 teams from New Jersey and Pennsylvania. They met the #10 Pennsylvania ranked U15 team, the Warrington SC Union in the final, taking second place with the final scoreline 0-1. The U14B NJ Stallions EDP team are now ranked #7 in NJ, #21 in Region I, and have a #37 National ranking according to GotSoccer. “It is always a challenge to play up in age. The boys did very well, and they gained a lot of confidence from this experience”, said Coach Jimmy Rivas.

At this year’s NEWSS Tournament, three NJ Stallions Girls teams made it to the NEWSS Final in their respective divisions. Most notably, the U15G NJ Stallions Freedom NPL team faced the #1 ranked NJ Princeton SA NPL team and dominated in the final, only to lose championship honors in a toughly contested PK session. The U16G NJ Stallions Storm EDP team also earned themselves a place in the Final, also settling for 2nd Place, losing the match in PKs. Finally, the U17G NJ Stallions Force NPL team returned to the final for the 3rd consecutive year; after winning the event at U15, they’ve repeated as finalists for the past 2 years . “This was a great event for our girls program. All of the teams prepared themselves well. Of course they’re disappointed in missing their chances to win the final, especially in penalty kicks, but they should all feel proud of their efforts.”, said Shaun Cryer, Girls Director of Coaching.

At the 13th Annual PDA Boys College Showcase, the U18B NJ Stallions Academy Boys won their division with a 2W and 1D record, scoring 5 goals, allowing only 1 against FC Copa Academy 1-1, Jersey Knights Imperials 1-0, and Capital Area Titans CASA 3-0. The U18B NJ Stallions boys performed very well with many of them coming off extended high school play with players competing in their school state tournaments in late November. “We have a long season ahead of us. This is a great start to our U18 year. The boys are looking forward to a strong season before they head off to college”, said Coach DJ Pinton.

The U14B NJ Stallions EDP team finished their Fall EDP League Season going undefeated with an 8-0 record winning their division. Over 8 competitive matches, the NJ Stallions boys scored 24 goals, with only 7 goals allowed. These victories came against top regional programs such as, PDA Kaka Blue, STA Morris NPL, NJ Heat FC and Council Rock United FC. Because of the team’s effort this Fall, they are now ranked #7 in New Jersey, #22 in Region I, and are now in the Top 50 Teams Nationally, at #35 (all rankings are GotSoccer reported.) “The boys had an amazing Fall EDP season. We begin our extensive winter training program now. We fully expect to pick it up where we left off when the Spring EDP season kicks off.”, said Coach Jimmy Rivas.

The U11G NJ Stallions Impact Pre-NPL team, in its first year had a terrific run in the NCS NJ State Cup Tournament finishing as Finalists. Along the way, the Impact team notched wins in state cup against #8 NJ ranked Lumberton SC Dynamite, #17 NJ ranked FC Berna Legacy, #13 NJ ranked Hibernian AA Crush, eventually losing in a hard fought Championship Match against #1 NJ ranked STA Morris United. Coach Shaun Cryer commented of his team’s effort, “For a brand new team, I couldn’t be more pleased. They had a great run. They’re only going to get better as time goes on”. The U11G NJ Stallions Impact Pre-NPL along with the U12G NJ Stallions Sting NPL team are a big part of the future of a very successful girls side at NJ Stallions Academy that has produced several champions, along with a growing list of players committed to top Division I, II and III soccer programs.

Sophia Gulati and Casey Richards, both members of the #1 Nationally Ranked Club team in the country, the U18G NJ Stallions Dynamite NPL, have been named to the 2015 HS All American Team. This is a prestigious honor for both players, as the East Region selects only 20 players each year to represent the entire East Coast region of the United States. Sophia Gulati, a Senior at Immaculate Heart Academy is bound for the top Ivy League institution, Princeton University and Northern Highlands HS Senior, Casey Richards is headed to Big East powerhouse, Georgetown University. NJ Stallions Academy proudly announces our support of Princeton Physical Therapy Group, who will be providing Injury Prevention, Recovery Opportunities, and Athletic Training Services for our teams. Princeton Physical Therapy has 6 New Jersey locations in Caldwell, Clifton, Montclair, Nutley, Nutley Midtown, and Sicklerville, which can provide rapid treatment for our athletes.

The U11B NJCSA Stallions Preacademy team made it to the Finals at the Brooklyn Italiens – 2015 Puma Christopher Columbus Cup taking Second Place. They played 5 matches over 3 days against top NYE State ranked boys programs. After 4 straight wins over Kosmos Hermes (NYE) (7-0), Met Oval White (NYE) (3-1), #8 NYE Ranked HBC Gunners (5-2), and #2 NYE Ranked Clarkstown SC Elite, the U11 Boys played a back and forth match against the #3 NYE Ranked Brooklyn Italiens. The final showcased 12 goals between the two teams with the final scoreline ending in a 7-5 win to the Brooklyn team. Coach Paul Nash commented, “This event is always a challenge for the boys. They did well overall. I’m extremely proud of them”. The U11B NJCSA Preacademy boys are now currently GotSoccer Ranked #4 in New Jersey.

The U13B NJ Stallions EDP team took Second Place at the 2015 EDP CUP tournament, while the U14B NJ Stallions EDP program finished in 3rd place in the Premier Division. The U13 Boys notched three (3) shutout wins in group play over top teams from PA and NJ, only to fall short to a talented #7 State Ranked team from Maryland against Salisbury Utd (1-2). The U14 Boys also turned in a strong overall performance, playing in tight games against top state ranked teams from Region I: #4 NYE team, Cosmos Utd (2-3 loss), #1 NH team, GPS NH NPL (3-1 win), #7 Virginia team, SYA Cardinals Red 01 (3-2 win). The 3rd place match win (3-1) was against a very tough team in the SDFC Dynamo. Congratulations to both teams for their strong performances!

The U11G NJ Stallions Impact Pre-NPL team were crowned Champions at the 2015 WAGS Invitational over Columbus Day Weekend. The girls played five games over three days, notching wins over top regional programs from three different states: Super Nova FC from PA East, BRYC 04 Elite from VA, Beadling Girls from PA West, (semifinal) Middletown SC Rush from NJ, (final) YMS Rage from PA East. The final against #12 PA East ranked YMS Rage ended in an exciting penalty kick session with the NJ Stallions Impact emerging the winner. The U11G NJ Stallions Impact team with this win are now gotsoccer ranked #6 in NJ. Coach Shaun Cryer commented, “We’re proud of this team. The players are applying what they’re learning in training. Both the Impact and our U12G Sting team are developing well this season” (The U12G NJ Stallions Sting NPL team finished as Semifinalists in their division).

U11B NJ Stallions Preacademy & U10G NJ Stallions Monsoon Are Finalists At Morris United STA Fall Kickoff!

At this year’s Morris United STA Fall Kickoff, the U10G NJ Stallions Monsoon and the U11B NJ Stallions Preacadmey teams made it to the Championship matches earning Finalist honors. The U11B NJ Stallions Preacademy team played up in the highest U12B division and won every group game, only to lose a close final to the U12B STA Morris Utd NPL team 1-0. Overall the boys scored 10 goals, allowing 6 over 4 matches. Equally impressive was the U10G NJ Stallions Monsoon team which played 4 games, winning 2 and losing 2, including a great effort in the Final against a very good World Class team. Congratulations to both teams on a great weekend.

The U13 NJ Stallions Boys capped off a successful spring season with an undefeated Super Y League season record of 10-0-2. In December, they will travel to Tampa, FLA to the IMG Academies to play in the Super Y National Championships Event to compete for a national title. Earlier in the Spring, they also finished with an overall 8-1-0 record in the EDP League, while continuing to build success on their way up the ladder in EDP League play. Coach Jimmy Rivas says, “They’ve improved so much since the Fall season. And this summer they really showed a winning mentality. We’re already looking forward to next year, and the boys are very excited for their first trip to Nationals!”.

The U17G NJ Stallions Dynamite were crowned NPL National Champions for the second year in a row at this year’s NPL National Finals event held in Indiana last weekend. The Dynamite team finished first in the EDP/NPL Division with an undefeated record beating other top regional teams to earn their return trip. During the NPL Finals weekend, they scored an impressive 18 Goals, only allowing 3 goals, including two shutout score lines against top nationally ranked programs in Space City FC, PWSI G97, Oakwood SC, and finally Massapequa SC Crush who they defeated in the Championship match (4-1). In addition to repeating as NPL National Champions, the Dynamite look to add to their already successful season as they prepare for the USYS National Championships in Tulsa Oklahoma early next week. In Oklahoma, they will represent New Jersey as the USYS Region I Champions in their quest for their first ever USYS National Championship.

The U17G NJ Stallions Dynamite were crowned Region I Champions at this year’s Regional Championship event held in West Virginia. After a convincing run of five consecutive victories against top Region I programs, the Dynamite team take the next step toward making a run at becoming National Champions as they now prepare to attend the USYS National Championships at the end of July in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The Dynamite squad posted five wins over the following teams: 7-0W over HBC Lightning Strikers, 3-2W over MRM Coyotes MD, 3-0W over Nordic Premier VT, a 6-1W over WVFC Premier WV, ending with an exciting 3-2 championship victory over Syracuse Development Academy 97/98. “It has always been a dream of these players to compete for a National Championship. They’re all so deserving of this win at Region One, and I’m proud of them. They have a couple of weeks to prepare for Nationals. The U15B NJ Stallions Madrid EDP team were crowned Elite Division Champions at this year’s FC Delco Players Cup on Memorial Day Weekend. Their run included five straight wins over top regional teams. The first three games went as follows: Game #1 vs Buckingham Utd #25 PAE (5-3), Game #2 vs FC Somers Galaxy, #6 NYE (1-0), and Game #3 vs Penn Fusion ’99 Predators #12 PAE (3-1). The Semifinal came against #6 CT State Ranked FSA FC with a final scoreline of 2-1. The Final was a back and forth affair finishing in a 5-4 scoreline versus #13 PAE State ranked PA Classics Elite ’99. Marcelo Fracchia, Boys Director of Coaching said, “The boys were relentless this weekend. Five games in three days seemed impossible, but they persevered. I’m extremely proud of them”.

The U12B NJCSA Stallions Preacademy team entered the 2015 FC Delco Players Cup as a young team playing up in the “Highest Division” in the U13 age group. Against older players the U12B NJCSA Stallions Preacademy team made it to the Quarterfinals, (3 games in 2 days). The results were impressive for a young team playing up in the top division of U13. In Game 1, they beat the #9 Pennsylvania ranked team, YMS Utd Juniors 2-0. In Game 2, they tied the #5 NYE State Ranked team, Staten Island Utd Spirit, and then lost a well fought match in Game 3 to the #3 Ohio State ranked Tri-State Futbol Alliance team. The U12 Boys played with thoughtful possession and inspired many of the tournament attendees to come watch their exciting run playing up at U13. “This was a special time for them. Word got around at the event that we were a young team playing up in the top division, and so many coaches, players and families were coming to watch them make their run. I’m so proud of them. This will be memorable for the boys and the families, and it will be for me too.”, said Marcelo Fracchia, Boys Director of Coaching and Coach of the U12B NJCSA Stallions Preacademy team.

The U15G NJ Stallions Stampede team became Champions at the PDA Girls College Showcase over Memorial Day weekend, after winning all of their games in convincing fashion. With victories over top regional teams, Manhattan Santos NPL (2-1), FC Stars of Massachusetts Central Utd (6-1), and Woodbridge Strikers (2-1), the Stampede girls showed their skill and dominance in front of hundreds of college coaches from top Division I, II and III programs from around the country. The Stampede NPL team is #10 in New Jersey and looks to continue their success in next year’s U16 showcase program with NJ Stallions Academy competing in National Premier League.

NJ Stallions Girls Academy announces a FREE 10-Week Girls Training Clinic to be run by Girls Academy Director of Coaching, Shaun Cryer. The FREE 10-Week Clinic which will run from Sept-Nov of 2015, is for young female players in the U6, U7 and U8 age groups. Tryouts for selection into the clinic will be held on Friday, June 19th. The U17G NJ Stallions Dynamite were crowned USYS NCS NJ State Cup U17G Champions after defeating the Princeton SA Premier team in convincing fashion with a 7-1 final score. This victory marks their 3rd time in a row appearing in the final, and their 2nd Championship win in three years. Building on their Region I Champions League title this year and on last year’s NPL National Championship at U16, they will head to the 2015 USYS Regional Championships in Virginia in late June, where they’ll compete to become Region I Champions against 14 other NCS State Cup winners. Shaun Cryer, Dynamite Head Coach, said, “I couldn’t be more proud of the players and what they’ve accomplished. They remain hungry. Getting to Nationals would be the opportunity of a lifetime. They’re going to give it all they have to try and get there”. Congratulations to the Dynamite on another terrific run.

This past weekend, The U17G NJ Stallions Dynamite team defeated the MRM Coyotes, former USYS National Champions by a shut out score of 3-0 to win the Final and were crowned Region I Champions League Champions for the 2015 season. The Dynamite team made it a third victory in a row in matches against the MRM Coyotes. In winning the Region I Champions League the Dynamite team receive an automatic berth into the Region I Championships event, and also solidify their reentry into the coveted USYS National League for their upcoming U18 season in 2016. The majority of the Dynamite players have all committed to top NCAA Division I and Division III collegiate programs. NJ Stallions Academy announces the appointment of Shaun Cryer, as its new Director of Coaching for the NJ Stallions Girls Academy. Shaun has been an integral part of the growth of the girls academy for the past three years. He has developed and led top level girls teams within NJ Stallions that have all gone on to Regional and National level achievements. He brings to the role many years of success in developing highly technical young players who are moving on to play at the highest collegiate levels in the United States. Marcelo Fracchia, Director of Coaching for the NJ Stallions Boys Academy has this to say, “Shaun is one of the hardest working coaching professionals I’ve ever been around. The dedication and perseverance he has shown us over the past few years has paid off for the club and for him with this promotion. NJ Stallions Girls will only continue to grow under his leadership”. The U17G NJ Stallions Dynamite finished with a match record of 3-1-3. Over seven games, the Dynamite scored 9 goals, allowing only 2, and finished 3rd in their bracket. All the games were tight matches against the very best in national competition. They are poised to do well in their Region I Champions League witch kicks off this spring, in addition to going after another NCS NJ State Cup title.
The U14G NJ Stallions Freedom finished league play with a record of 1-5-1. For the current U14G NCS NJ State Cup Champions, their National League play was a huge challenge. They too are poised to do well in Region I Champions League play this Spring, and are looking forward to competing for a Regional Championship when they visit West Virginia for the Region I Playoffs this summer.

The following NJ Stallions players have been selected to the Super Y ODP National Training Camp to be held at IMG Academies in Tampa FLA this March: Nicole Kwoczka from the U15G NJ Stallions Stampede NPL, Jake Samieske from the U15B NJ Stallions Madrid EDP, Noah Kilday from the U16B NJ Stallions EDP, and Justin Charkowski from the U17B NJ Stallions EDP. Three NJ Stallions Academy players, Nicholas Cerrigone (GK), Austen Conrado and Leonardo Teixeira were selected to attend this year’s Super Y League ODP Training Camp taking place at IMG Academies in Bradenton, Florida in early March 2015. All three of these young players are members of the U16B NJ Stallions EDP academy program, coached by Julio Cesar. Congratulations to each of them for a well deserved recognition.

The U17G NJ Stallions Dynamite team were crowned Champions in the highest showcase division at this year’s Disney Girls College Showcase. This is a repeat for the Dynamite having won the event last year; the third Championship result in four years. At least 12 of the full year roster players are already committed to top Division I programs, including two Ivy League programs, Princeton University and Columbia University. The U17G NJ Stallions Dynamite have continued to earn national attention highlighted by the recent story on SoccerWire.com, where they’re mentioned as being “recognized among the top Non-ECNL programs in the country”.
