Yusuf Hamza Helps FDU Knights to NCAA Division I Sweet 16!!

Yusuf Hamza, former NJ Stallions 94/95 standout, completed a successful Freshman season at Fairleigh Dickinson University as a midfielder for Seth Roland’s Division I FDU Knights. As a freshman, Yusuf logged 708 minutes at midfield over 16 games, averaging 45 minutes per match. The FDU Knights finished their season 11-6-6 capping their season in a thrilling overtime match loss (0-1) at the NCAA Tournament versus the Defending Division I Champion, University of North Carolina Tarheels (UNC); a game that could have gone either way. Yusuf Hamza was a member of the NJ Stallions 94/95 team for four years. Yusuf helped the 94/95 Boys team to finish in 1st Place in the Super Y League Mid-Atlantic Division, earning a spot at the Super Y Nationals.  At Nationals, Yusuf was named to the Super Y All-Star Team.  In addition, Yusuf was a member of the 94/95 ODP National Championship team during his time at NJ Stallions Academy. The entire staff at NJ Stallions Academy congratulates Yusuf on a successful beginning to his collegiate career at Fairleigh Dickinson.
