Sept 8, 2012

The U13 NJ Stallions Boys and the U13 NJ Stallions-BEC Girls both earn trips to the 2012 Super Y North American Finals to be held December 7-11 at the prestigious IMG Academies in Bradenton FLA, later this year.

The U13 NJ Stallions Girls clinched their playoff birth for this year’s event scoring 39 goals, only allowing 6 over a 10 game schedule, finishing in second place in the Mid-Atlantic Division with a record of 7-1-2 behind the Long Island Rough Riders. Led by Head Coach, Russell Farr the U13 Girls look to prove themselves down at IMG Academies. “I’m very proud of what they’ve accomplished since I arrived to the team in April. Goal scoring is always a great thing, but I’m, more proud of their commitment to execute our attacking style of play that utilizes possession and speed of play that creates opportunities in the final third; a style that myself and NJ Stallions Academy is committed to implementing in all our teams. We’re looking forward to the challenge this December.”

The U13 NJ Stallions Boys completed their 2012 season with a strong record of 9-4-3, scoring 40 goals and allowing 29 over 16 games. Head Coach, Julio Cesar, a NJ Stallions Academy veteran has high hopes for his team in December; “I’m very proud of them. It was a long spring-summer season this year. They played well. This year’s event at IMG Academies makes the trip even more exciting.” Director of Coaching, Marcelo Fracchia, and General Manager, Rich Gentile are very proud of both teams traveling to Florida this December.
